AK Hangal was born on February 1, 1917 at Sialkot, Punjab (India). He was a freedom fighter, an Actor and a Television Artist. He made his debut in Indian Film Industry with Shagird (1967). He also worked on Television Screen with a negative role in Adalat on Sony Tv. On August 26, 2012 he passed away at the age of 95 years after suffering from back injuries.

Mother Teresa was born on August 26, 1910 at Skopje, Republic of Macedonia. She was an Albanian born Indian-Roman-Catholic nun. At the age of 18, she left her home and joined Sisters of Loreto. After a few months, she was sent to India and she started teaching in St. Mary’s School in Calcutta from 1931 to 1948. She founded Missionaries of Charity on October 07, 1950. This society of Missionaries provide effective help to the poorest of the poor in a number of countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America. During the last years of her life, she continued to govern society and respond to the needs of the poorest church. She spent her final weeks in Calcutta and her earthly life came to an end on September 05, 1997. She was given the honor of State Funeral by the Government of India. She was honored with Padma Shri in 1962 and Nobel Peace Prize in 1979 by the Government of India.

It held in China in 2008 and Abhinav Bindra from India won a Gold Medal in Archery, Sushil Kumar in Wrestling and Vijendra Singh in Boxing won Silver Medals. More than 50 players and 16 players of Hockey of India qualified for different games this year. So Lets pray for best performance of Indian players.
