Akshay Kumar was born on September 9, 1967 in Chandni Chowk, Delhi. His original name is Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia. He went to Bangkok to study Martial Arts and worked as a Chef over there. His first movie was Deedar (1992) which was directed by Pramod Chakravarhty. But he got success with Khiladi series. He hosted the show Fear Factor - Khatron Ke Khiladi on Colors Tv and Master Chef on Star Plus. He has a son named Araav with wife Twinkle Khanna. He won Filmfare Negative Role Award for Ajnabee (2001) and Filmfare Best Comedian Award for Garam Masala (2005). In 2012, he was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India.
